The topics include connecting to a WAN; implementing network security; network types; network media; routing and switching fundamentals; the TCP/IP and OSI models; IP addressing; WAN technologies; operating and configuring IOS devices; extending switched networks with VLANs; determining IP routes; managing IP traffic with access lists; establishing point-to-point connections; and establishing Frame Relay connections
CCNA PROGRAM BENEFITS
According to estimates presented by a market research firm in 2006, there is a shortfall of over 50,000 certified networking professionals in India. This deficit is in fact projected to grow at a compounded annual growth rate of over 21 percent until 2010, thereby presenting great career opportunities for trained professionals, who will find networking to be an employee’s market at least for the next several years.
The CCNA certification, which is among the most sought after certifications in the field of networking, will benefit desk engineers, field technicians and beginners in the field of networking.
